Poul Larsen began his baking career at age 14 in Copenhagen, learning the art of making pastries as an apprentice to the finest chefs in Denmark. He has been creating fine traditional Danish pastry in the Seattle area since 1974, when he opened his own bakery in the Ballard area under the mark of the golden crown and pretzel, traditional symbol of fine Danish Bakeries.

Larsen’s Original Danish Bakery has an extensive mail order service for their most popular products. Baked fresh every day, these delicious pastries are handmade with the finest, freshest ingredients, ready for you to take home and enjoy with family and friends!
